Editing a Distributed Fact Base With an ORG Chart

Abstract

This document is a guide to using ORG chart. ORG Chart was originally a tool for displaying organization tables in a tree format of U.S. Army units and tables of organization and equipment. The date that ORG Chart displays is kept in a distributed fact base, a component of the Information Distribution Technology software that was developed at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory. ORG Chart has recently been augmented to provide a convenient and efficient interface for entering data into a distributed fact base. This document is a guide to using ORG Chart in both its display capacity and its data input capacity.
