Scaling the Campus Intranet

Abstract

The forces driving campus intranet development are pervasive network usage, any-to-any networking, and common intranet traffic. This exponential rise in bandwidth demand requires network managers to plan a scalable intranet solution that grows over time. Network managers must redesign networks into intranets to scale end-to-end bandwidth and performance many times over as traffic loads increase.
