Implementation of Lifelink(TM) Connections at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC)

Abstract

This is the Final Report entitled "Implementation of LifeLink(TM) Connections at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC)". This report describes the work that was performed during the course of the project, describes the technical configuration of the installation at BAMC, and reports on testing and demonstration activities using the equipment at BAMC. The objective of this project was to provide equipment and services as required to establish a "Hospital Terminal" node at BAMC that is connected and functioning within the LifeLink system in San Antonio, Texas. The availability of the LifeLink Hospital Terminal and the related communications that connect BAMC into the LifeLink network will facilitate related research and data collection activities and position BAMC to participate in the use of the LifeLink system during pre- hospital medical oversight in actual medical emergencies.
