Color Center Mockup Development and Testing

Abstract

This report results from a contract tasking General Physics Institute as follows: The contractor will develop and test a narrow linewidth (^5OO MHz), tunable (1080 to 1350 nm) color center laser based on LiF and NaF crystals with a goal of being 10 to 20% efficient when pumped with a Nd:YAG or Nd:LaF3 laser.
