Risk Based Reliability Centered Maintenance of DOD Fire Protection Systems

Abstract

The report documents a risk based reliability centered evaluation of tasks associated with the inspection test and maintenance of fire protection systems. The report demonstrated it is possible to achieve a 99% reliability of system performance on demand of fire with fewer tasks than recommended by current national consensus prescriptive standards.
