Abstract

Planning and scheduling have been identified as one of several critical technology areas required to achieve information superior. In order to exploit future information systems that provide information in real-time, commanders must have fast real-time techniques to modify plans in the presence of uncertainty, and which anticipate future replanning so that the original plans can be modified with minimal impact.
