Command Relationships for Amphibious Operations: CATF/CLF Undergo a Transformation

Abstract

Today the Navy/Marine Corps team continue to develop doctrine to reflect the conduct of amphibious operations in a joint environment. The Chief of Naval Operations and the Commandant of the Marine Corps have agreed to a new consensus position on command relationships.
