Abstract

The 1999 Active Duty Surveys (ADS) gather information on current location, spouse's military assignment, military life, programs and services, spouse employment, family information, economic issues, and background. This report provides tabulated results obtained from spouses of active duty members. Survey results are tabulated for DoD as a whole and for subgroups defined by member Service, paygrade category, location, and respondent gender. Background information, survey administration, and analytical procedures are also briefly discussed in chapters of this report.
