Complex Band-Pass Filters for Analytic Signal Generation and Their Application

Abstract

The generation of the pre-envelope and complex envelope of an arbitrary band-pass component of a digitized signal is presented. In particular, the complex band-pass filter method of analytic signal generation is generalized. Synchronization is also addressed and an example application of interference cancellation is given.
