RDEC Federation Implementation of Objective Force Battlespace (OFB) Architecture

Abstract

The Army Materiel Command (AMC) Research, Development, and Engineering Center (RDEC) Federation, combined with the Joint Virtual Battlespace (JVB) and Mounted Maneuver Battle Lab (MMBL) simulation architectures, comprises the real-time simulation architecture central to the Objective Force Battlespace (OFB) framework. This document describes the RDEC Federation architectural approach, interfaces, synthetic natural environment, and key architecture components, as they relate to OFB experimentation and analysis.
