FINANCIAL AUDIT: American Battle Monuments Commission's Financial Statements for Fiscal Years 2001 and 2000

Abstract

This report presents the results of our audits of the American Battle Monuments Commission s (ABMC)financial statements for the fiscal years ended September 30,2001 and 2000. We prepared this report in accordance with 36 U.S.C.2103. We are sending copies of this report to the chairmen and ranking minority members of the Senate Committee on Appropriations and the House Committee on Appropriations. We are also sending copies to the secretary of the treasury,the director of the Office of Management and Budget,the chairman of ABMC,and other interested parties.
