Health Status of Military Women in the Total Force

Abstract

The current study sought to investigate health issues and behaviors among all military women and men, including both active duty and reserve personnel. The effort resulted in administration of a major survey, with a total of 24,881 respondents. This dataset represents the single largest and most comprehensive information base regarding military health and health behavior to date. Furthermore, it serves as valuable baseline data for future monitoring and tracking of health events in the military.
