Planning of Manufacturing Science and Technology Activities with Industry

Abstract

This Final Report presents a summary overview for activities undertaken by the National Center for Advanced Technologies under Office of Naval Research Grant Number N00014-99-1-0363. On its own behalf and through the Multi-Association Industry Affordability Task Force, NCAT supports activities of the Director of Defense Research and Engineering, the Office of Naval Research, and other DoD and Military Service organizations. These activities have included the areas of defense systems affordability, modular open systems approach (MOSA), defense acquisition reform, technology transition, manufacturing technology, science & technology, and the national munitions production readiness base.
