Unit Climate, Leadership, and Performance: An Aggregate-Level Investigation

Abstract

This study examined the link between stressors, strains and performance among 31 company sized units. In addition, the 360 degree assessment tool of leadership was examined. Results revealed several key linkages between stressors, strains and unit performance. The evaluation of the 360 degree assessment tool, however, revealed that the instrument had poor discriminant validity.
