Management: Total Army Quality Management

Abstract

This regulation establishes policy, procedures and responsibilities for managing U.S. Army organizations. This regulation serves as the capstone for the AR 5 series of management regulations. Army personnel will use AR-5-1 to develop and implement sound management practices. This regulation establishes policy, procedures, and responsibilities for Total Quality Army Management (TAQ). The regulation emphasizes the Army's commitment to performance excellence through leadership and vision, mission, and customer focus, employee empowerment and continuous improvement.
