ADA/Portable Operating System Interface (POSIX) Maturation. Delivery Order 0004: Avionics Software Technology Support (ASTS)

Abstract

This effort matures and demonstrates Portable Operating System Interface (POSIX) features for strike fighter avionics software. The maturation and demonstration focused on assessing the performance and security of selected POSIX interfaces. The Hughes Aircraft corporation Avionics Operating System (AOS) was used as benchmark to compare the performance and security results from the POSIX assessment.
