Abstract

This Pamphlet sets forth cost-effective procedures and guidelines for the receipt and dispatch of OIG, DoD and tenant activities official mail. The objective of the guidelines is to control the OIG official mail costs through proper and cost-effective use of the United States Postal Service (USPS), overnight shipping companies (Federal Express (FedEx), United Parcel Service (UPS), etc.) and courier services operating within the National Capital Region (NCR).
