Cultural Resources Support

Abstract

This project is a cooperative agreement between the Antonio J. Waring, Jr. Archaeological Laboratory at the State University of West Georgia and the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity. This project is designed to provide the Antonio J. Waring, Jr. Archaeological Laboratory stewardship of the nations cultural resources for curation which are to be collected by the Department of Defense in the geographical area of the state of Georgia and the surrounding southeastern United States. Funds that apply to this project are based on individual tasks orders. Research and reports are extruded from the collections obtained by the Department of Defense. As of to date, no task orders for curation have been received by the Antonio J. Waring, Jr. Archaeological Laboratory. A mailing to all of the US Military Bases in Georgia and surrounding states was completed informing them that the Antonio J. Waring, Jr. Archaeological Laboratory is available for curation of any archaeological collections they may have and is now under this cooperative agreement.
