Engineering and Design: Evaluation of Military Airfield Pavements

Abstract

This regulation sets forth policy and responsibilities for evaluation of military airfield pavements. This regulation applies to all HQUSACE/OCE elements and field operating activities (FOA) having military construction and design responsibility. Information concerning aircraft inventory, aircraft passes and aircraft operations shall not be released outside U.S. Government agencies. Unless otherwise approved by CEEC-EG, all U.S. Army Airfield Pavement Evaluation will be performed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Waterways Experiment Station. Portions of the airfield pavement evaluation reports containing references to aircraft inventory, passes and operations shall not he released outside U.S. Government agencies. U.S. Army Airfield Pavement Condition Index without reference to aircraft operations may be released to Architect/Engineer with the approval of CEEC-EG. For airfields which are not U.S. Army, any release of pavement evaluation information made outside of the Department of the Army shall be made by the owner of the airfield, not by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
