Engineering and Design: Use of Storage Allocated for Flood Control and Navigation at Non-Corps Projects

Abstract

This regulation prescribes the responsibilities and general procedures for regulating reservoir projects for flood control or navigation and the use of storage allocated for such purposes. Excepted projects are those owned and operated by the Corps of Engineers; the International Boundary and Water Commission, United States and Mexico; and those under the jurisdiction of the International Joint Commission, United States and Canada, and the Columbia River Treaty. The intent of this regulations to establish an understanding between project owners, operating agencies and the Corps of Engineers.
