Publications Management Program

Abstract

This volume implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 37-1, Air Force Information Management (will convert to AFPD 33-3). It prescribes and explains how to create and manage Air Force publications and to whom they apply. It covers the procedures and standards that govern management of standard publications throughout the Air Force. It also carries out the tenets of Executive Order (E.O.) 12861, Elimination of One-Half of Executive Branch Internal Regulations, September 11, 1993; and E.O. 12866, Regulatory Planning and Review Planning and Review, September 30, 1993. It applies to all Air Force personnel who prepare, manage, review, certify, approve, or use publications.
