Abstract

This Air Force instruction (AFI) implements Air Force Policy Directives (AFPD) 33-1, Command, Control, Communications and Computer (C4) Systems; 33-2, Information Protection; and 10-6, Mission Needs and Operational Requirements, by identifying responsibilities for supporting Air Force information technology equipment (computer systems). This change incorporates Interim Change (IC) 2001-1 (Attachment 4). It transfers the responsibility for purchasing and equipment accountability of general officers (GO) and senior executive service (SES) notebook computers to the base/local-level.
