Abstract

Authority for acquisition of reference book sets appears in the following types of authorization documentation documents: (1) Table of Organization and Equipment (TOE). (2) Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE). (3) Bills of materials for special purpose medical units when authorized by The Surgeon General (TSG). The Commander, U.S. Army Medical Department Center and School (USAMEDD C&S) will be responsible for determining the components of each book set. The book sets shall be reviewed every year and published in a revised DA SB 8-75-S9 edition. The next major revision is scheduled for the year 2002. This publication contains the basis of issue for all medical book sets authorized for medical TOE Units.
