Abstract

This briefing was presented during the Phoenix Challenge 2002 Conference and Warfighter Day. It concerns information assurance and survivability operational experimentation (OPX). The strategy of OPX objectives are to: accelerate transition of effective technologies, information research agenda with operational experience. Its key experimentation risks and transition metrics are: limited operational staff time, and impact on operational systems. Its approach is: leverage mature research, well tested in lab, and to field cautiously.
