Audit Followup: The Army Contract Audit Followup Process

Abstract

The overall objective was to evaluate the Army Contract Audit Followup (CAFU) process. Specifically, we evaluated the accuracy of the Army's contract audit followup data and actions taken by contracting officials to ensure proper and timely settlement of contract audit issues. We also reviewed the management control program as it related to the stated objectives.
