Protocol for Commercial Microbiological Amendment Testing and Evaluation

Abstract

The objective of this protocol is to provide a standardized testing and evaluation procedure that can be used by the Air Force to screen commercially available microbial amendment products. The objective of testing and evaluating commercial microbial amendments is to demonstrate, under careftilly controlled conditions, whether these amendments provide a significant improvement over indigenous microorganisms in the biodegradation of petroleum hydrocarbons.
