Vertrauensmanagement in Unternehmungen: Ein realistisches Vorhaben? (Trust Management in Enterprises: A Realistic Premise?)

Abstract

Trust in enterprises has become increasingly important due to the fact that so many businesses are moving towards stronger decentralization, decentralization, and self-regulation; and the requirements by and methods through which enterprises are controlled are changing as well. The author first mentions how trust functions in the economy, predominately on the stock market, but also in the day-to-day existence of private firms and offices. The dimensions of the trust construct are then outlined, and the attempts at researching the matter are also mentioned. Consequences of opting to "manage" trust within a given firm form the concluding section.
