Prediction of the Low Frequency Wave Field on Open Coastal Beaches

Abstract

This work involves the development of a model for the prediction of low frequency motions (LFM) in the nearshore zone. This work concentrate, on the identification of processes that generate LFM's as well as those that limit their growth. Several such mechanisms are identified and studied, and their importance in the prediction of LFM's are assessed.
