Measurement Uncertainty Analysis of Ship Model Resistance and Self Propulsion Tests

Abstract

This report presents a method for analyzing the uncertainties in the experimental measurements and results of ship model resistance and self propulsion tests. The method has been applied to the data from experiments with DTMB Model 5326-2. Sample calculations provide an outline or standard that may he applied to future experiments.
