Science and Engineering Programs at The University of Pennsylvania

Abstract

The University of Pennsylvania was funded by Air Force Office of Scientific Research to establish and continue eight projects in science and engineering research. Complete reports were presented for three projects in the Technical Report for September 30, 1994 through September 29, 1995. Four additional reports were presented in the Technical Report for September 30, 1995 through September 1996. This document presents the final reports for all eight funded projects: (1) Studies of High Performance Electrooptic Polymers and Devices, (2) Molecular Modeling, (3) Research Programs in Elementary Particle Physics and Astrophysics, (4) High Speed Network, (5) Cognitive Science (6) NMR Spectroscopy of Membrane Proteins (7) Gene Expression and Protein Chemistry (8) Biotechnology of Cell-Cell and Virus Cell Interactions.
