Telephone-Linked Care: Enhancing Self-Care for Women With Breast Cancer

Abstract

The objective of this pilot study is to develop informational messages about managing 6 common symptoms (nausea/vomiting, trouble sleeping, fatigue, trouble thinking, fever/chills, and pain), integrating them with a computer-based telephone symptom monitoring system, Telephone Linked Care (TLC) and then evaluating the usefulness of the TLC system and the informational messages during a cycle of chemotherapy for breast cancer.
