Wavefront Control & Sensing System Based on an Opto-Silicon-Integrated Phase Contrast Technique

Abstract

This report describes the design and development of a high-speed, high-resolution wavefront sensing and control system. The system will couple high-resolution analog liquid crystal spatial light modulators with an innovative subtractive imaging sensor. The resulting system will achieve vast improvements in resolution, size, weight and cost over currently available systems.
