MURI/ARO Functionally Tailored Textiles

Abstract

Four universities (Drexel University, North Carolina State University, The University of Akron & The University of Pennsylvania) are In collaboration on this basic research. The objective of the program is to improve the survivability of the soldier by functionally tailoring protective clothing that detects and protects against battlefield threats (including chemical, biological agents, fire ballistic, detention, and other threats.)
