Point Mugu Sea Range Marine Mammal Technical Report

Abstract

This document provides background information on marine mammals compiled while preparing the Environmental Impact Statement/Overseas Environmental Impact Statement (EIS/OEIS) for the Point Magu Sea Range. The Point Magu Sea Range is located off the coast of southern California. It is operated by the Naval Air Warfare Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS) Point Magu. The EIS/OEIS assesses potential environmental impacts associated with current and proposed activities conducted by the U.S. Navy on the Point Magu Sea Range. The EIS/OEIS covers 14 disciplines and has been prepared for broad distribution.
