Investigating the Crack Growth Behavior in a Particulate Composite Material Under Multi-Axial Loading Conditions

Abstract

This report contains viewgraphs that investigate the effects of loading conditions on crack growth behavior in a particulate composite materials under confining pressure. The loading conditions that were observed were 1) Constant strain rate : 5.8 cm/cm/min; 2) Constant strain: 12%, 15% and 18%; 3) Confining pressures: Ambient pressure and 6897 Kpa.
