Dredging Research. Volume 6, Number 2, June 2003

Abstract

Resuspension of sediment in the water column continues to be a topic of interest to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. EPA, the U.S. Department of the Interior's Minerals Management Service (MMS), state resource agencies, and other stakeholders worldwide. For example, the Corps has funded research on resuspension during dredging since the 197Os, and recently MMS funded research on this topic.
