Phase Transition in Korea-. U.S. Science and Technology Relations

Abstract

This report presents an analysis of the relationship between the Republic of Korea and the United States in science and technology (S&T). The research was conducted within the Science and Technology Division of RAND. The Korean Science and Engineering Foundation (KOSEF) requested the study, and the research was conducted in close cooperation with the Science and Technology Policy Institute of Korea (STEPI). The goal of this study is to provide input to the science policy decisions of both the United States and Korean governments.
