Military Utility of HEL Fighter

Abstract

This paper gives a very brief overview of the Directed Energy Worth Analysis and Vehicle Evaluation program (DEWAVE), a military utility analysis of a tactical fighter equipped with a high-energy laser. This paper describes the objectives of the effort and discusses, at a very top level only, the analyses and results.
