Exercise and Bone Density: Meta-Analysis

Abstract

Use the meta-analytic approach to examine the effects of exercise on bone mineral density (BMD) using individual patient data (IPD) and to compare these results with summary data from the same studies. The specific aim for this project period was to analyze IPD from existing exercise training studies dealing with the effects of exercise on BMD. Includes journal literature from tasks performed in previous reporting periods.
