Evaluating the Long-Term Health Impact of Military Service

Abstract

Does military service, in particular operational deployment, result in a higher risk of chronic illness among military personnel and veterans? The Millennium Cohort Study, the largest Department of Defense prospective study ever conducted, will attempt to answer this question.
