Near-Far Resistance of Alamouti Space-Time Coded CDMA Communication Systems

Abstract

In this paper, the near-far resistance of the MMSE detector is derived for the code division multiple access (CDMA) communication systems with the Alamouti space-time block coding. It is shown that transmitter/receiver diversity has benefits on the near-far resistance performance while receiver diversity has more impact on the near-far resistance.
