Thermal Degradation Study of IM7/DMBZ-15 High Temperature Composite by TGA/FTIR

Abstract

(U) High temperature graphite composites such as IM7/8552 epoxy, IM7/5250 BMI, and IM7/DMBZ-15 polyimide show blistering and/or "catastrophic" delamination when rapidly heated to temperatures above the glass transition temperature (T(sub g)).
