An Analysis of Saturday Family Practice Clinic Utilization at Reynolds Army Community Hospital, Fort Sill, Oklahoma

Abstract

The objective of this study was to establish a patient profile using descriptive statistics that reflects the type of patient who uses the Saturday Family Practice Clinic, and to determine if this profile differs from those who use the Monday-Friday FPC. The study revealed that users of the Saturday FPC were predominantly female active duty dependents age 17-50 (40.4%) and children between the ages of one and ten (27.3%).
