Abstract

DoD civilian and military personnel responsible for management of munitions and explosives safety should read this report. The report discusses program weaknesses associated with inadequate planning and oversight and the need to restructure the DoD oversight board so it will become more effective in identifying and minimizing risks associated with explosives safety hazards.
