Financial Management: Allegation of Improper Accounting for Direct Billable Hours by the Defense Finance and Accounting Service

Abstract

This report will be of interest to Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) personnel who manage the billable hours accounts and DFAS customers who pay for the hours billed. Actions taken as a result of this report could ensure that customers are billed accurately and that changes to data used to generate customer bills are adequately supported.
