Chemical & Biological Point Detection Decontamination Information Systems

Abstract

This report is the third annual edition of a series of interagency coordination documents that serve a dual purpose. First, they fulfill Counterproliferation Program Review Committee (CPRC) and congressional coordination and reporting requirements for the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Energy (DOE) in the area of chemical and biological defense (CBD) research,2 development and acquisition (RDA). The first CBD RDA report published in April 2000 explained the rationale for and genesis of interagency coordination via the CPRC chartered CBD Focus Group and the roles and responsibilities of DoD and DOE and other agencies.
