Pilot Study: System Model of Situation Awareness and Decision Making in Command and Control

Abstract

This report results from a contract tasking PAMAM as follows: The Grantee will develop a theoretic system model of command and control situation awareness and decision making under uncertainty suitable for guiding the planning and design of operator-in-the-loop (OITL) studies. This will form a pilot study in preparation for a larger effort addressing sensemaking and situational awareness in the presence of uncertain and/or dissonant information.
