GeoPlot Declutter Interface Usability Evaluation

Abstract

This study evaluates the usability of an advanced human-system interface that uses an automated algorithm to reduce user workload by automatically decluttering low-threat tracks. The usability evaluation was conducted in association with an experiment conducted for two purposes: (1) to compare two decluttered interfaces with a standard, non-decluttered interface for performing an air defense task, and (2) to compare medium and high threshold cutoffs on the declutter algorithm.
