Clean CAM Technology -86: Demonstration Scientific and Technical Emission Summary Test Report. Addendum. AGE Bio Diesel Emission Evaluation

Abstract

This report serves as the findings of a field study on an engine modification developed by Clean Cam Technology (CCT) that promises to reduce Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) emissions from various engines manufactured by Detroit Diesel. The Air Force hired Environmental Quality Management, Inc. to modify four AM32A-86D generators that are equipped with Detroit Diesel 4L-71N engines, conduct emission tests on the four operating units every six months and record operational data on how well the four units operated during the one year field trial. This report provides emissions factors for the modified units and operational issues encountered during the field trials.
