Demonstration of Natural Gas Engine Driven Air Compressor at Army Industrial Facilities

Abstract

The use of air compressors by the DOD is widespread, and the variety of tools and machinery that operate on compressed air is increasing. This study involved the provision of turnkey services for the design, installation, and evaluation of a natural gas engine driven air compressor, as well as the identification of other opportunities for reducing compressed air energy operating costs.
